Installation:

For Spur II (64mm), if it is built with a 2mm thick support slightly forward, and the rotating parts are rotated to the end of the threaded rod. You have to drill a hole in the buffer pile with a diameter larger than the spring. The support may be an adhesive plastic washer whose hole diameter must be smaller than the spring. The spring presses against the disc. The best way to screw the disc with 4 mini screws on the screed, so that the part is loadable.

Recommendation:

Screw couplings on track II (64mm) work well with springy buffers at circle radii over 3m

We recommend to use springy screw couplings with circle radii between 1.5 to 3m circle radius only to a limited extent in towing traffic with shortened resilient buffers.

For circle radii between 0.9m and 1.5m you should use only the LGB couplings if possible. They act as an intermediate buffer if they have two hooks. The buffers should be shortened so that they do not touch each other when bumping.

Therefore, ZENNER offers most of the Spur II (64mm) cars rebuilt by PIKO or LGB, with shortened buffers and optional LGB couplings with two hooks that you can unscrew. They work on the also offered by ZENNER curved tracks with radii 0,9m to 1,2m.
