STORY:
This railcar T1 of the Dessauer Waggonfabrik was built for the Gernrode-Harzgeroder railway company GHE.
In 1933, the GHE expanded passenger traffic on the Selketalbahn. The main routes
were the routes Alexisbad / Harzgerode and Alexisbad / Stiege.
Since diesel was difficult to obtain in the Second World War, this single piece landed in 1943 in the engine shed of the station Eisfelder Talmühle.
The Deutsche Reichbahn operated the vehicle after the Second World War until 1978.
